Nothing bothers me more than to hear songs that jump around, change beat, or just sound downright awful. I try to make songs that stick to the main beat and don't sound like multiple sounds put together. I know my music isn't very good, but it would be great if you could comment to help me make it better!
Why this name?
A couple years ago some friends of mine gave me the name Gilbert so I wanted to use that name, but it wasn't unique and was already used by at least another person; so I came up with DJ Gil♥bert
Do you play live?
I don't play anywhere, I just make music to share with others.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it has definitely hurt the labels but I do enjoy how unsigned artists are able to distribute their music easily.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would most definitely, I just don't feel I'm good enough.
