Tyler Dedera & Lisa Nelson went to a music vocations school together in Iowa from 2004-2006. They hadn't started collaborating until Tyler moved back to Arizona, and have done all their music through the internet. Tyler had sent a track to Lisa for her to mess around with in her spare time. The result lead to Tyler writing and recording several more instrumental tracks and sending them to Lisa, and she wrote & recorded lyrics and vocal parts for them. And so Lucid Abyss was born.
