My name is Chigozie Ugwueze, but friends call me Chiggy. I have been writing songs since I was 12 years old, but my first "real" studio experience wasn't until march 2007.
I have always been an avid music listener. I listen to almost all genres of music and as such, I cannot say for certain whom my music sounds like. I am a huge fan of songs that I can relate to, hence my own songs tend to be personal. I am inspired by artists like 2pac, Eminem, Ludacris,and Chamillionaire.
I have an album out. It is titled, The Moment: Back 4 tha first time. It is on itunes, amazon.com, shockhound, lala.com, napster.com, etc.

Why this name?
In high school, friends called me Chiggy insteada Chigozie.
Do you play live?
I performed in high school...I remember a time when I got on stage to rap a verse I wrote....I was so nervous that I didn't know if the crowd clapped or booed me. I was so absorbed in saying my rhymes right.lol
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
for sure...the internet seems to affect artist's sales...however, it helps in promoting an artist's musical work
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
fo' sheezy...that is what I want.
