Patti and Alec Smith - we play all our instruments. We're working on our first studio album as a band. We've played several shows doing original compositions and cover songs in a two acoustic guitar format.
Why this name?
Inspiration and research
Do you play live?
Yes. We've played several shows in corporate cafeterias to entertain the folks during lunch.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The ability to get music out to a broader base of people is now much easier in the sense that you don't have to get a record contract, etc. This means, however, that it will take a lot of work or uniqueness to get your name out there with so many bands available. It will make networking more important than ever.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but we would want to retain ownership of our music.
