The name is Day! i'm 20 and i been doing music since i was about 15-16 years old. it's a passion of mine i'm a very versatile artist. i rap.. sing.. i do rock.. play the bass guitar/piano/trombone/sax and i also produce but im still new at it. i'm looking to take over the music industry by being myself at all times and showing the world theres nothing wrong wit being yourself.
Why this name?
It's actually my last name.. i use to go by promise which was my birth name but was change a week later due to my fathers request.
Do you play live?
I haven't played live yet, i'm currently trying to get something started with a promotion label here in Arizona.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Everybody can't get out there with mixtapes and slang 'em on the streets kinda like me so what i can do is give word of mouth i can record a track and upload it then tell my peeps or just strangers about the website and give 'em the url not to mention that its world wide i mean i got people all across the states and outside the US listening to me on myspace(www.myspace.com/cardiemusic)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends really like they say not all money is good money, well not all deals are kosher ya shovel?

A big influence and ill only name 2 is Wallee the green i bass player(My brother in law) and Darren Isaiah.
Favorite spot?
My favorite city is Compton where i waas raised. i would love to go back and peform one day.
