I am trying to get known in the business, I have a goal of $500 so i can build a small studio, but until then, what I use is very basic! But it takes a longer time to master! Please anybody, if you can, hook me up with some beats, or some lyrics, please and thank you, also any advice for a newcomer to the industry!

Welcome to my page. I am singer/songwriter DJ Shado. I will be posting all my music on here. Trying to get noticed. I have 2 cousins in the music industry. Them being: Alex from singing group Wibal y Alex (Reggaeton) and Prophecy (Infinite Muzik is the label). Just to let you all know, all you hear from my page is made from scratch, with a budget of $20!!! I use Audacity for recording, (Free Program) and a $20 Plantronics Computer mic from CircuitCity! Why this name?
My Name as you see is DJ Shado, I chose this name because it is very new, I made up the name Shado 3 years ago, last year I made up Shado13 for my Myspace username, now, I use it as my singing/songwriting name, DJ Shado. Also another reason for me being DJ Shado is because I'm known for Being the music at parties...hence the name DJ.
Do you play live?
I currently do not play live. I have just been introduced to recording. But I would love to do gigs anytime!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet does change the music industry...alot! If it wasn't for the internet think about how many people wouldn't of gotten discovered! People can distribute alot through the internet, and I mean ALOT!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would take my time to read the entire thing with a lawyer of course but, as I am unsigned trying to get known, of course I would sign!
Your influences?
Basically, my cousins who made it! My 2 brothers who love music, and also sing/write. And people like T-Pain with so many hits one day there are going to be too many to count!
Equipment used:
This may sound like nothing, but all I use is my old Windows XP laptop, $20 Plantronics Computer Mic, headset from old mp3 player, and my free program Audacity. Imagine what I can do with a real studio!
