Just a solo musician having fun. I don't claim to play like Eddie Van Halen, sing like Jon Bon Jovi, or write songs like the Beatles. Just hoping you enjoy listening as much as I had writing. Thanks
Why this name?
It is my first and middle name. I was named after both sides of my family, being Jefferson and Paul
Do you play live?
I havn't played live since 1989. In fact I only started playing again a couple years ago. Currently just jammin by myself.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Termendously!! In so many ways. You can put your own music out there or get someone elses, be it legally or illegally. I like the fact that I can get my music out there. I also like that I can sample a CD before I buy it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not. I really like being able to do what I want, when I want, and how I want. Although, like they say... Money talks. I guess it would be a way to see the world and have fun playing my music.
Your influences?
Eddie Van Halen, Judas Priest, Kiss, Dokken, God Smack, just to name a few.
Favorite spot?
I have couple great places I like to go with my wife. San Antonio and New Orleans for the food and New England for scenery and weather--great summers. There are alot of places I would like to see all over the world.
