GetEmBeatZ is a one man band creating new sounds and freely offering them to the public for a non prophet use. I have just starting making beats a few months ago and I've decided I need a space to save and place my finished beats.
Why this name?
Cause I Get Em everytime.
Do you play live?
I have, but not recently or planning to anytime soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet openly invites people to listen to new Artist, a place to get heard and have a voice. At the same time I feel like Artist who deserve to be compensated for their music are being ripped off by people who download their music rather then support them and go out and buy their CD.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it was possible and I felt like I was ready..
Your influences?
I feel as if Tupac Shakur is my biggest source of motivation and inspiration due to his poetic style of writing and emotion on every track. He is original and god rest his soul.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot is my imagination.. My city isnt all peaches and cream so I feel I must imagine a better life in hopes of one. Imagination is how beats are made in the first place.
