Why this name?
Mississippi is a cultural disaster, the center of the United States of phobia.
Do you play live?
We would, but we would feel guilty making people pay to listen to this stuff.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's going to give indepedents the oppurtunity to spit on the industry at a rate faster than ever before.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, if they started acting like they had some f***ing sense.
Band History:
Mississippi Disaster is a group of musicians who improvise the best quality music they can. Whenever they can, whoever can be there, and without the worry of impressing anyone who needs us to wear a clown costume to dumb the music up to their level.
