Sonic Messiah is an industrial project done by Doctor Oscify while he attended high school in Fort Collins Colorado. Most of the songs on this site were recorded with a four track tape recorder, a guitar, and an inexpensive microphone, making this a pure DIY industrial pursuit. Although there is a possibility of a Sonic Messiah revival, currently Oscify is working on other projects and is too busy ot resume focus on this truly unique project.
The Sonic Messiah believes that social progression is imperetive to the future of earth and it appears that stagnation or perhaps regression are more the norm. In fact, it would appear that a very large contingent of the worlds population has an enormous problem with complacence, and in fact a resistance to social progression and change, which, to me, is a very large social problem in of itself. one reason for this could be the fact that the powers that be (authoritariat governments as well as the rich and priveledged)don't foster visions of hope or feelings of self importance in the people that they administer. Sonic Messiah seeks to bring music that will foster resistance among those who hear it. yes, progressive music is also important. Sonic Messiah combines influences ranging from Radiohead to Tool, to KMFDM to U2 in order to create austure musical backdrops and and angry incendiary lyrics. this is not a simplistic rage rock group. Sonic Messiah is an entirely different sort of project which not only angrilly comments on societal ills, but also aims to offer solutions...

Guitar, bass, effects box, samples, Yamaha keyboard keyboard from the 70's, four track tape deck, Cakewalk Plasma 2003
Anything else...?
I don't really make Sonic Messiah tracks anymore. I've been too busy doing the Doctor Oscify thing.
