Chocolate River

I'm Daniel, I've been studying, playing and writing for almost 25 years.
Have been in many bands and worked with other artists in production roles.
Now I'm pursuing my solo career as my priority, taking time to enjoy creating music and entertaining again.

Why this name?

I'm a daniel from dundee.

Do you play live?

Have played a few gigs, solo and with bands. Mostly in Dundee.
Quite happy to play anytime or anywhere as long as the energy is good.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think it gives a lot more access to the amazing talents of all mankind, hopefully one day we will all indulge in creative arts and leave our own impressions.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Of course.

Your influences?

I'm inspired by all music and sound but in particular John Lennon, Marc Bolan, Jim Morrison, Steve Marriot, Ray Davies and many other artists aswell as bands have inspired my song writing.
In general life itself and human behaviour are my biggest influences.

Favorite spot?

Casa mia in Mazzarino.

Equipment used:

I have an original Fander Coronado II 66/67, an old avenger semi-acoustic and hohner semi-acoustic. I also have an Les Paul standard aswell as PA's, amps, keyboards etc etc.
