David Fang was born in Shanghai during August 14th, 1986 and is raised in New York City. Since early childhood, he was learning to play the violin through his father who was a professional musician in Shanghai. He have participated in various Chamber Orchestras and School Orchestras throughout his early educational career.


Currently he is playing the electric bass in a community band, performing for various funding raising, charity, and church events. While attending Edward R. Murrow High School, David Fang began learning piano, music theory, and digital music, which inspired him to compose. Unfortunately because of being a full time student, never had the opportunity to write music until the year 2008.


During January 2008, David Fang have written his first Orchestral piece called "Shining Path to Truth and Knowledge Suite". Following the first piece, he began writing music for various video games such as Star Wars: The New Era, Andromeda Source and other medias such as Intex Digital Sound's FedCon XVII DVD . Currently he is the Lead Music Composer for Invision-games. He uses some of his spare time composing music while working and studying full time in College.
