Straight from the streets of New Haven, CT; where most people might think of the place I call home the suburbs, stood an emerging young soon to be icon. Ever since a young soldier this protégé has always had a love for music. This particular artist began honing his craft at the tender age of six. He came up listening to such hip-hop artists as Run DMC, Audio Two, and many other various artists that the 80’s had to offer. Broadway Dolla was set out to create a style of his own, one that would be recognized by millions. This artist made certain that a lot of time and effort would be put into the music in order to achieve his goal. He attended school and neighborhood talent shows to display his talent in front of live audiences. The response wasn’t always what he had expected but it was the experience that made it all worth it. Motivation and dedication is the key.

At age fourteen, Broadway Dolla began tracking his voice in a local studio where he cut his first demo. The engineer, Tom Ransom guided him through whole recording process. Ransom made a few suggestions on how Broadway Dolla should project his voice while in record mode and on stage.
