Hotel Eden music travels across the genre map but most centers on a deep-meshed combination of unique singer/songwriter vocals based in keyboard driven pop with a super-danceable groove.
Why this name?
It was inspired by the work of Joseph Cornell, a pioneering assemblage artist from New York. I really like his stuff.
Do you play live?
Definitely. Live shows are where it's at. Lots ahead.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The arrival of the mp3 really changed things. Record deals were scaled back as labels struggle. With more accessible media and recording/production technology, artists have to fight harder to be seen because there's so much music out there. Yet it's easier to establish a presence in the first place.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I appreciate hard work and people who believe in music, whether they're major or indie. There are music lovers and dedicated people at all levels in the music industry and I love working with them.

I first started recording as Hotel Eden in February of 2008.
