Overpower Radio is the healing revolution of sound, where real music emerges from deep within to quench the thirst of souls on their eternal path = the builders of Heaven on Earth! These are the blessings God has bestowed upon us. All praise is due to God. I am happy to be His co-producer, as His Will Guides me to perfection. [click here]
Why this name?
Radio (not Hip Hop) has been dead for a long time, now. Thus, Overpower Radio! Real artists have to do it!
Do you play live?
I'm not presently performing live ...not even open-mics, but I AM dreaming of putting together a show/tour. I'm looking for artists to musically direct/produce, so I can put together a tight performance for all who will come.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The MP3 file format greatly empowers artists to spread their love in sharing their music. The internet has revolutionized world-wide promotions remarkably, enabling artist to attract new listeners just about anywhere on the globe. Artists can reach more listeners over the internet, than any single local radio station.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am infused with inspirations to prosper as an independent artist. I dream of this and seek education in this, so I will not ever have the need or want to sign a contract and be a slave to any entity ?ever!
Favorite spot?
I LOVE NEW YORK! Georia's next!
Equipment used:
AKAI MPC 2000XL, Guitar, TECHNIQUE 1200s, Mixer, Mic, Samples (Records, CDs, DVDs), Yamaha Keyboard (nothing extravagant), eMedia Midi Keyboard, CUBASE VST, SERATO SCRATCH LIVE, my old trusty DELL COMPUTER (only about 950MB Processor, 512MB memory), SONY 3 DISC CHANGER w/auxiliary input (game input) that I use to mix my music (about $180 bucks) ....you don't have to sell drugs to make great music.
