We are Angel of VIolence.
Members:
Lucid Static: noise, post production, post effects, and post sounds, Primary sequencing, distortion, Beats, and mayhem.
Sumibraxis: sequencing, programming, and vocals. Basically, either, I remix a song of LS, and throw words, or he remixes, and twists something I write, and I throw words to that. Works well.

Why this name?
In prechristian history, angels and demons were only different by region. They were the same thing. both could be good, and both could be evil.
Violence, used as a last countermeasure tool can be used for good.

Do you play live?
We have played live as individuals, but never together, I think both parties feel the same way about playing live.... f*** YEAH!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet (myspace that is) is what brought together the team we now call Angel of VIolence.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if we have COMPLETE AND TOTAL artistic control over what we put out, and it does not require the villification of constant radio play.
Band History:
Sumibraxis started Angel of VIolence as a solo project years ago. Not having the ear to really perfect the sound quality, Lucid Static still heard the idea behind the mud. Lucid Static liked it. Sumibraxis offered to throw vocals on a song called No Future by Lucid Static, and LS suggested Sumibraxis just do a remix and throw them in that way as well. LS really liked it and the two became one. LS is in Alaska, and Sumibraxis in Africa.
Your influences?
There are too many things really that do not pertain to our sound: David Bowie for example. Viscera Drip, Skinny Puppy, and the telly. Anger, frustration and the other things that drive us to bump in the night.
Favorite spot?
You know that place with the river rushing through the land, surrounded by trees, and other indiginous plant life in the thick of the woods? Right there.
Equipment used:
anything we bloody well want to.
Anything else...?
Yes.... LOVE OUR SHIT!
