As I work on the new album, I realize many haven't been introduced with the old one, so here you are. This album is about the disillusionment of my youth, littered with hard drugs and guitar noises.
Why this name?
Phil Ford. +FEEL something... pretty straight forward.
Do you play live?
I had been playing coffee houses, street corners... but everyone is so money hungry now that I thought 'why not do and say something different?'
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is like Andy Warhola squared.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It's possible, but not likely talking about some of the issues I talk about.
Band History:
My bands history is as murky as that of our countries, that's why ultimately we are connected. My sonic children are bastards with the US of A as a midwife. That and my childhood.
Your influences?
Husker Du, PIL, Joy Division(Warsaw), Jeff Buckley, others...
Equipment used:
Roland W30, Takamine Acoustic, time + space, drugs(be introduced to yourself at your own risk).
Anything else...?
Listen with the attention of a long lost lover, or contemplate on 'nothing'. Oh yeah... 'Delusions Of Grandeur' or DOG. You figure it out.
