Ebbin Flow, an alternative / acoustic rock and roller coaster band formed in 2006 out of Virginia Beach, VA. Co-founders, lead singer / lyrisist Bobby Reagan and guitarist / songwriter Eric Frankenberg originally met while they were in their teens.

“We were at some party at a friend’s house, Eric recalls, “I heard Bobby singing Pearl Jam’s “Black,” so I went over to meet him and asked him to join a band with me.”

Drummer / percussionist, Mike Morgan & bassist / songwriter Micah Kaplan brought the last pieces of the Ebbin Flow puzzle together when they joined the band in 2007.

Why this name?
Why did we choose Ebbin Flow? Well, being from the beach we wanted to incorporate our roots and our music into our name. Overall, Ebbin Flow symbolizes, our personal belief, that our music has the ability to transcend someone from one mood to another...taking you in and out like an ocean tide.
Do you play live?
We do play live. So far, we've played Old Dominion University's Relay for Life, HK @ the Bay, Boars Nest in Norfolk VA, Crocs in Va Beach and a couple of other places.

Playing out is mesmorizing. I mean, how many times does a person get to live their passion. I know for Bobby (Lead Vocalist), music is his "avenue of expression."
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is continually changing the music industry. A prime example, we have folks from all parts of the country listening and buying our music. 10 years ago this was only capable via a record label or actually traveling.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely! Ebbin Flow is going to ride this wave as far as it will go.
Band History:
Ebbin Flow has just released their self titled album, Ebbin Flow, which blends saccharine melodies and aggressive acoustic sounds, turning out an album teeming with ultra-catchy gems.

The first song on the cd “Hope you don’t mind” originally called "Tension" presents a story of how someone wants something so bad, but for some reason…just can’t get it. The lyrics, “Have we gone this way before? Have we tasted this taste before?” are entrenched in this mind numbing melody and together make this song addicting to listen to. Once you hear it...you'll be singing it for days.

Your influences?
Some of Ebbin Flow’s influences include artists such as Radio Head, Live, Tracy Chapman, Tool, and John Frusciante and Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Favorite spot?
Mike, Ebbin Flow's drummer, says his favorite city is NYC... Bobby agree's only b/c he's a HUGE Yankees Fan!
