Faded MusiC ProduCtions originated in 2002 in Omaha, Nebraska... We started out creating mix cd's featuring artists predominantly from the WestCoast and the DirtySouth... By 2005 our catalog of mix cd's was well over 50 and continued to grow... The first three years were an experimental time in which getting "FADED" always came before the "MUSIC"... We really didnt start taking our mix cd's seriously until 2006 with several significant releases... In the early months of 2006 we distributed thousands of copies of "The Assassination Of 50 Cent"__volume ONe and "The Name They Say Is Runnin The Game"__volume ONe which featured Chamillionaire right before he gained fame on a national level... The next step in 2oo6 for FADED Mu$iC was to coordinate enough local artists with quality production to release an all Omaha Mix CD... The cd titled; "Put The 'O' On The Map"__volume ONe featured 21 traCks and over 30 artists either from Or living in the Omaha area... It hit the streets in August 2oo6 and by the end of the year over 1,900 FREE copies had been distributed NOT including copies made and internet sharing... The idea behind distributing that many FREE copies was to gain name recognition for FADED Mu$iC as well as to help promote the artists involved and local Hip Hop in general... We have even bigger things planned for 2007... Already available is "The Assassination Of 50 Cent"__volume 2... It turned out extra nice with our new mixing equipment we recently purchased... ..........New Update...... We just Released the highly anticipated Mix cd...
