-It took me all day to record it (12 hours - no breaks 'cept for food), but I'm SOOO PROUD OF MYSELF, cause the solo I put in it is like *Air guitars crazily*.

I've been working on this solo project since the summer of 2007, where I crappily recorded crappily composed songs, crappily played by me. I thought it sounded alright, but it didn't for so many reasons. Now, I'm currently working on a reformed version of the project now that I have gained vocal experience, doubled or even tripled my talent and knowledge, and gained much motivation. Now in this project, I have been recording a demo tape which will be much higher quality recording and will be more pleasing to the ears. Once I am finished, I will distribute it for free to anybody who wants one, and for the people who can't get it from me directly, I will have free downloads posted up here.
If you know anybody who is willing to add themselves to this project: musicians, managers, agents, etc; please let me know ASAP.

Why this name?
It's my first name, Ollie, Short for Oliver, and the first initial of my last name, Bernstein.
Do you play live?
I currently only can play Acoustic songs live in Northern New Jersey, as I am the only person involved in this project. I love it. Holding the guitar is as special as it gets.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For the better! It lets people who want to get their music and message out there to the general public do it!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure.
Band History:
My musical journey began when I was 6 and started playing the drum set. A year later, I took piano lessons from until 2007 when my teacher died. I began playing guitar at age 11, and immediately couldn't stop. I eventually dropped the drums as my main instrument and looked to shredding as my religion in the summer of '07. In '05, I began taking summer courses at Appel Farm Arts and Music Camp, where I met many resourceful teachers and friends, and I gained much knowledge about music. In the summer of 2007, when I began to take music as much more than a hobby, it was all because of the newfound inspiration of Steve Vai. Listening to his music gave me reason to do more with my life than live it droningly. I now practice 1-3 hours or more a day, because it will all lead up to when I audition for Berklee College of Music.
Your influences?
Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Paul Gilbert, Poison and Sonata Arctica.
Favorite spot?
My hometown, Summit, New Jersey.
