Tha number of tha apt that this all really started at... 302 was where Smokin Robs n Me (L-DuB) lived n had a 3rd room as a gangsta home studio. We lived there for 5 or 6 yrs, and it was known for wild, crazy ass parties n Hip Hop... Atmosphere, Brother Ali n Deltron 3030(As well as many new and old school hip hop artists) were among tha CD's regularily being played... We started makin beats for freestylin. When we had parties we would use a computer, a stereo n a wireless mic in a big cricle in one of tha rooms. Tha first beats had some crazy structure to them, but over time tha beats really started bangin n Robs really adds a flavor to a lot of our beats with his guitar. Then when Distant Strangers formed, Active Oner joined tha 302 Productions crew cuz he can create some real bangers! Some say 302 is dead cuz they dont live there anymore...but 302 lives on!

In a way...Distant Strangers regularily perform...Smokin Robs plays guitar live, so kinda...

Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Del, Bob Marley, Led Zeplin, Aerosmith, Tech N9ne, Eminem...and BIG, 2 Pac of course.
