I have been making beats and producing since 1998. I've worked with a couple different groups since then namely... Ride Inc, Silent Millenium, and Eerie Shores. I can make custom beats to fit most any genre of Hip Hop or Rap that you are into. My main focus though is to make music that I feel so if you do then I'm doing the right thing.
Why this name?
It came from a Anime Flick called Macross. General Galaxy was a corporation that made manned Gundams
Do you play live?
No but I have emcee'd live before. I'm mainly concentrating on production and starting my own studio for a record company I'm getting off the ground called Eight Track Records.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Do you mean How does the internet or mp3 change the music industry? If that's so I think it does dramatically because it is a lot easier to get your music out to people however I also feel that music is viewed as being less than what it is worth. I mean everyone wants something for free and that wasn't always the way you know what I mean. Everyone has to eat.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would if I could have a good percentage of creative control and if the record company I worked with had similiar views on music. I do realize however that the record industry is about selling music, but I feel that there is going to be an re=emergence of hip hop music because a lot of people are tired of hearing the same thing.
