Why this name?
Because it represents the family and the movement behind us, theres a lot of roots, but the stories are told if you listen closely to our music, it's pretty self explainitory.
Do you play live?
Yes we do. Anywhere wher we have a show, most of our performances have been in upstate New York, mainly in the Binghamton area. We love to perform, our best performance was co-headlining for Ludacris in the BU event Center.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think it helps it in a positive way more than a negative. All though music piracy is a problem, we feel that if the music is good enough than people will still buy the records as well as come to the shows which brings in income, so we won't be starving artist forever! Lol.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the terms were beneficial to all parties involved, than of course.
Your influences?
We have a wide range of influences, which is reflected in our sound, we feel that music should have no limitations. People like, Black Eyed Peas, Tupac, Nas, Scarface, UGK, Bone thugs, Twista, The Roots, Linkin Park, Gym Class Heros, and the list goes on and on.
