To describe myself, I'd have to say my life is a book and the title music. The majority of it I would be saying how much of a procrastinator I've been my whole life. I've been lucky enough to be raised in a home full of musicians, singers, and songwriters. Since the age of 6, my main priority has always been the guitar. But, at age 7, I picked up the drums, and age 10 I picked up the piano. Also, during 7th grade, I unfortunately played the French horn..., although that is what taught me the tiny bit of 'reading music' I know. Being raised with a Christian background made it very difficult for me to get out much. Which is why, until recently, performing has mainly been in front of the church. One of my most recent shows was at the 'shelter', St. Andrews Hall, in downtown Detroit. But you can always catch me at the bullfrog bar & grill in Redford. I couldn't give you a total on how many songs I've written, but I can tell you that there's 10 as of right now that I am performing and very confident in. I'm in the middle of recording my first CD, consisting of these 10 songs that I speak of. Hopefully, after reading this, it will reflect my feelings enough to let you, the fans, get to know me even better than you do now. In January of 2009 I plan to take a 1 month trip to Nashville, TN. But by January of 2010 I want to move down there. For those of you who are unaware, ....Nashville is the number one place to land a record deal. I want to have at least 200 shows under my belt by that time, and at least 20 songs that I'm comfortable with if not more, and also have a decent fan base backing me up. So to the fans that have been with me since the beginning, and to the fans I'm gaining through everything, here’s your thank you if you've taken the time to read this. Also to let you know why I'm writing this or why I'm doing this, its not only for the simple fact of "its all I know" but I'm hoping in some way, some how, I can relate to you, the people, and help make an impact in someone’s life, and to let you know my side of the story. once again thank you all -SINcerely, Curtis Kokenos

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes. It Makes Music Easier For Fans To Get To. It Promotes The Artist Better. It Allows You To Check Out What That Artists' CD Sounds Like Before You Buy It. Or Say You Only Like One Song On That CD, You Can Always Just Purchase One Song Usually For Under A $1. (But mp3's Have Also Made It Easier To Bootleg. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL & UNSIGNED ARTISTS)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I Would Def. Sign A Record Contract With A Major Label
