Danceable. Catchy. Girl Power. Sexy. Attitude. Diverse. Hot. Sometimes Even Witty.
The pop and R&B songs produced by Frenchchocolate Productions are all that and more!
Do you miss good mainstream sounds? So do we. That’s why Frenchchocolate Productions makes them.
Do you think there’s no such thing as good mainstream sounds? Then you haven’t heard Frenchchocolate Productions.
Do you just hate good mainstream sounds? WHO CARES?! Frenchchocolate Productions doesn’t make music for you anyway!
Frenchchocolate Productions is for the ultimate music lover who knows that there’s nothing wrong with pop music that strong lyrics and better images can’t fix. That’s why tracks produced by Frenchchocolate--the 24-year old female who hails from the Memphis, TN area and started heavily producing while attending Emory University in Atlanta, GA--often feature sophisticated women with real vocal talent, empowering lyrics for women and beats that even the hardest male rappers praise and inquire about writing to. But this is not a case, as with so many producers, of “you’ve heard one, you’ve heard ‘em all.” Every song on which Frenchchocolate works is different–whether it’s smooth and sexy R&B such as “When You’re Around” featuring vocalist TJ Scott, the danceable “night out with the girls at the club” anthem “Crazy Wit Me” featuring vocalist Jilla Pauley, or the edgy pop song with rock flavor "If I Didn't Think (I Knew You Better)" featuring vocalist Maristella belting out lyrics about today’s most popular topic among women (cheating!).
And, we warn you, don’t let those three songs fool you, as they are simply the tip of the iceberg. Whether it’s catchy pop with an urban attitude like Usher and Destiny’s Child, pop/hip hop tracks bordering on the sounds of The Neptunes, a pop/rock song that even Avril would jam, or a pop track that Britney would love to moan and grind to in the studio or on which Justin might sing like a girl about how wrong Britney did him...Frenchchocolate Productions creates musical diversity that hooks true music fans while either driving music snobs up the wall or bringing them out of the pop closet for a quick compliment. Over the last five years, Frenchchocolate Productions has blown away music lovers and fellow musicians of all genres.
Let us introduce you to the new, improved pop music revolution!

Why this name?
"I chose 'Frenchchocolate' because it symbolizes something very important to me--my ethnic background, African American and French."
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"I think that maybe mp3s hurt the record labels and artists some, but I think the main problem is just that music isn't as good as it used to be. Also, those who have already made it and are really rich are being greedy. Mp3s are a very useful way for people to hear your music, and I feel that that's what really matters.
The internet is going to be, and has been, great for getting unsigned talent recognition and a easier time at maybe getting signed."
