I (Phantazym) did a group thing with an old friend way back in the day under the group name Corrupt. When DemoniK and I got together to do our shxt we brainstormed for a while and the only droplet of rain to come out of it was Corruption.

We haven't played live yet due to the fact that we've been mainly doing practice, small pocket money albums to prepare us and better our skills for the real thing.

We have both discussed what would happen if we went mainstream from underground, and the answer we always come up with.. "if this would happen, it'd be the chance to hit the hip hop "bling-bling" type sh*** out the park with real music"

Started in late 97, put out 3 albums, the last in 2001, and working on our 4th.

We draw influence from many different musicians or things. Mostly life experiences that "corrupt" our minds and make us think up the rhymes we spit. Also I as the producer of all our music listen to anything and everything i can hear to get ideas and draw in all types of different sounds and genres into everything we do.

Any guitar riffs you hear in our music is done by me. I also have live drum samples that i use so our newer music sort of sounds like a live band in a way, but I love to mix in the horrish or kind of evil sorta ambient/electronic sounds as well. I use a variety of things to mix the beats.
