Why this name?
The name I origionally go by is Ali because thats my name and I've been rapping under that name since 1995. You can chaeck that with ASCAP!
But this site says its already taken,so I chose Day Vaughn 'cause thats how my first name is pronounced. DeVon.

Do you play live?
Wow..The last performance I did was at club Picaso's but I was actually just singing a hook for my homeboy who was rappin at the time. I have done shows in Chicago with PVE Assassins.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet pressures the Artists to tour more and do more shows/concerts to make money. We download entire albums for free on a daily.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
I used to be a part of a group called Quarter Ki. One of the members is now a member of MOROC N G. I've done collaborations with UC ( unknown confusion) and PVE Assassins.

My Favorite artists,in no special order are: Run DMC,Ice T,Ice Cube,Kanye West,Common,UGK,Tupac,Biggie,Jay z,Mos Def,Outkast,Goodiemob,Lil Wayne,Birdman,Talib just to name a few.
