This is my solo project that I started after mucking about in a couple of blues/classic rock bands and hating every moment of it. I just decided that I wanted to make my own music.
Why this name?
Iodine Sky is a song by the band Black Light Burns and it is possibly one of the most beautiful and moving pieces of music I have ever heard.
Do you play live?
I don't play my solo stuff live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it can change the way music is distributed. For better and worse. It makes it easier to get your music to the public but it also allows serious bootlegging issues. My major consideration is sound quality and in that respect MP3s are severely lacking, which is why I use CDs only for my own listening.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I guess I might if it would get my music out there to more people. However it would mean selling my soul to the devil and giving up creative control as well.

Favorite spot?
Probably Denver Colorado is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The lighthouse pier and the view of the pigeon-house at Ringsend power station in Dublin city is also a pretty special place for inspiration. I also like industrial and abandoned areas. There is something eerily moving about places like that. And yes I know you were talking about gigs and whatnot but inspiration is more important I think.
