Do you play live?
I've been taking a break from live performances while putting together this album and depending on how well the album is received, I may put together a live tour to promote it later this year.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's opened endless horizons for independent singer/songwriters like me to introduce themselves to music lovers world wide!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all depends on the circumstances and who's offering the contract.
Band History:
I've performed in bands and as a solo act since high school.
Your influences?
I've been around a while, so most of my country influences are of the Gene Autry, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson and George Strait kind.
Favorite spot?
Nashville, TN I've been to a lot of cities in this country, but Nashville is still my favorite!
Equipment used:
All the songs on my MP3 album were recorded digitally at Cole Mine studios in Nashville, TN in 2001/2002 except for "My Home Is On The Highway", "Friends" and "Back To The Country" which are actually "demos" I recorded myself in the mid-90's on an Eight Track reel to reel. I've included these three songs as bonus tracks with the MP3 album download since many folks here at SoundClick have already added them to their stations. The other eleven songs feature A-list musicians from in and around Nashville and were recorded digitally at Cole Mine Studios in Nashville.
