who are we ?
Rock the Flock is a Christian Rock/Praise and worship band from Picayune, MS, for the purpose of praising God through music. The band members are all volunteers, striving to glorify the Holy Trinity.
Praising God, and delivering the message He gives. All music has been written and recorded in the sanctuary in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. To Him be all Glory. Names, pictures, and bios risk glorifying us and are therefore only provided when we believe it glorifies the Lord. We will periodically post information about the band and the members.

Why this name?
It is really a statement. We want to Rock the Flock so that people will Flock to the Rock!
Do you play live?
Do we play live? absolutely! We have played at many churches of different denominations.
Special moments? Abbeyfest was certainly one of our favorites. There were thousands of people this year! I would probably say that the best thing though, is to see young people get excited about Christ - especially in the Blessed Sacrament!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Simple. It allows all of us to do What we love, are called to do, and share it with others.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely, But only if Christ is kept #1. What we do is a calling and a mission, not a business.
Equipment used:
We use Gibson electric guitars, Takamine acoustics, Gretsch and Fender Bass guitars and Wirges electronic drums.
For guitar effects we use a Behringer V-amp 2 through a Marshall Valvestate amp.
