How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a financial burden for the music industry in certain aspects. Because of the Internet, records sales have dropped drastically. Programs which offer peer to peer music sharing technology and services obviously are a major factor in the drop of sales. On the other hand, the internet's contribution to the music industry is great for promotion for all artists of all genres.
