Auckland-based singer/pianist/songwriter Kane Steves has been professionally established in the Auckland music scene for over 5 years now after an early childhood of winning many Auckland & North Shore Performing Arts Society Scholarships.

Kane (28) was born in London, but has been living in New Zealand since 1980 and attended Rangitoto College on Auckland's North Shore as a young teenager.

For the last 7 years Kane has been New Zealand's Korg keyboard and piano demonstrator and has performed at corporate functions, charity events, hotel gigs and has been regularly appearing at the prestigious Alto Bar at Sky City Casino in Auckland.

His latest CD, "Looking Back", is a collection of timeless piano music from "Bright Eyes" to "Bridge over Troubled Water" and also includes 2 bonus tracks of his soulful ballad originals backed by some of the foremost musicians and back-up artists in New Zealand.
