2WeaktoNotice formed late in the summer of 2001. Original members include lifelong friends Nathan, Marcus, and Patrick. Alex was asked to join in 2003. Since their beginning, 2WtN have drawn in a relativly large fanbase. Their pop-punk sound has been defined as "catchy...[music] that really sticks in your head." 2WtN's upcoming 10-song LP entitled "Promise You'll Remember Me" is set to release September 26th, 2003.
Why this name?
Nathan came up with it. We're not really sure how, but we imagine it went something like this:
Nathan: "Hey Mom, what are you making?"
Nathan's Mom: "Cake!"
Nathan: "But Mom, you're putting salt in it! Won't that taste funny?"
Nathan's Mom: "You cant taste it - there's not enough. It's too weak to notice."
Nathan: "That's it! Thanks Mom, you're the greatest!"
Nathan's Mom: ???
Nathan: "Hey Mom, what are you making?"

Do you play live?
We will play live just about anywhere. Though our favorite place to play is "The Rev" in Evansville, IN.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It it the perfect way for unsigned bands to get recognized - a means of being discovered. I mean, you can say that your music is good all that you want to, but people will judge that for themselves. MP3's allow music to globally spread. I want our music to reach as many people as possible. Who cares if they pay for it or not? The point is, someone out there is hearing my heart and soul. If he or she is a true fan, they are going to by our album anyway. - Patrick

Patrick - 199x White Les Paul Custom through a Marshall JCM 800 head w/1960A 4x12 Celestian cabinet. No effects - amp distortion only. D'Addario XL custom guage strings. Yellow and green Dunlop tortex picks.
Nathan - 2003 White American Fender Stratocaster through a Marshall MG250DFX combo amp and Peavey Special 212 Amp. No effects - amp distortion only. Fender Bullets/D'Addario XL custom guage strings. Fender heavy picks.
Alex - Squier P Bass through Ampeg BA115 and BA112 amps. Any heavy pick will do.
Marcus - Tama Swingstar 5-Piece Drums w/Evans Genera g1 hydraulic heads. Paiste/Zildjan cymbals and Iron Cobra double-bass. 5A sticks (usually).
