EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS AGREEMENT

You will receive a high quality MP3 of the untagged beat on an audio cd through mail or digitally through email and a copy of the raw wav file and the individual tracks on a data cd. Exclusive rights grant you unlimited commercial recordings and broadcasts. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat in any way in which you choose except for reselling of the beat. You will receive a contract in the mail granting you exclusive rights to the beat. You own the recording as a "work made for hire". Deep Mentalz may no longer lease or sell the beat, except for prior leasing rights holders and his own promotional page (no downloads there). The seller will not receive a royalty from the sale of records or downloads. You must however give full credit to Deep Mentalz on all commercial recordings.


NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS AGREEMENT(LEASE)

You will receive a high quality MP3 of the untagged beat on an audio cd through mail or digitally through email and a copy of the raw wav file. Leasing rights allow you to use the beat for ONE commercial recording or broadcast. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 2,000 copies. Selling more than 2,000 copies means you must acquire exclusive rights. You may also use the beat for non-profit promotional use or demos. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat in any way in which you choose except for reselling of the beat. You will receive a contract in the mail granting you non-exclusive rights to the beat. In the event that someone buys exclusive rights to the beat you have leased, your rights shall stand and the beat is still yours to use. Deep Mentalz will not receive a royalty from the sale of records or downloads. You must however give full credit to Deep Mentalz on all commercial recordings. Upon purchasing leasing rights, Deep Mentalz still owns the beat(s) and Deep Mentalz is able to resell the beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased.


CUSTOM BEATS

Custom beats will follow the same process as the EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS AGREEMENT and will be handled on a one-to-one basis. Pricing on these ranges from $200 - $500. Email me at deepmentalz@yahoo.com if you are interested in a custom beat.


FREE DOWNLOAD BEATS

All beats that are up on the page as free downloads are free to use for non-profitable, non-commercial purposes only. This includes demos, soundclick or myspace pages . Credit must be given to Deep Mentalz.

All beats that are up on the page as $0.99 downloads are free to use for non-profitable, non-commercial purposes only. This includes demos, soundclick or myspace pages . Credit must be given to Deep Mentalz.
