Why this name?
"Callic" is how this stupid kid we know pronounces the word "cowlick" and he's convinced that he's still pronouncing it right.
Do you play live?
Why yes... YES WE DO! We just started playing live shows recently and we heart them. So if you're ever in the area, catch us live. Go to our site or myspace.com/callic for the most recent show dates.

"I get high off of Callic." -Toll Booth Guy (from our first live perfomance)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
What's the internet? mp3? Music Industry?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who the hell wouldn't? (Shut up, hipsters, you know you would).
Band History:
We were half-joking when we said that we were going to make a band that makes fun of all these people that we don't like, but then we wrote some songs, then it was a while before we actually recorded them. Our drummer has changed 4 times, and now, finally, we have a drummer. We used synth drums in recording (in case you don't notice by listening to it) but that just makes it more funny. We explore a lot of different genres in our music, so you can file us under Experimental Rock because we have been compared to Beck and Ween on a number of occasions. We also have a folk influence.
Your influences?
Ween, Beck, The Dead Milkmen, They Might Be Giants, Cake, Nerf Herder, Aquabats, etc.
Favorite spot?
Hannaford
Equipment used:
2 Fender Strats, 1 Fender P-Bass, 1 Mandolin, 2 Ukeleles, 2 acoustic guitars, 1 MicroKorg Synth, 1 drum set and a small coke, to go.
Anything else...?
First off: We would just love to give a shout out to Hannaford for being there for us.

We would also like to thank the following drummers for not wanting anything to do with us:
-Bryant Williams (Can you pass the cookies)?
-Nick Dimille (Never worked. However, check out his amazing pro-abstinence band Save Yourself (www.soundclick.com/saveyourself)
-Shawn O'brien (the leprechaun)

Thank You: Jay Guthrie for leaving the above category and drumming for us live and on "Scotia."

Screw everyone who got mad at us for our old CD.
