I got the name "Yoshi" back in high school my sophomore year. Then when I started back rapping again the label I was with added on "Yoshiggedy". Thats how I came to be "Yoshi aka Yoshiggedy"

I play live in my beat studio, in my five years of producing only 8 people have sat down and really watched me produced.

The internet changes it dramatically on both good and bad aspects of it. With websites such as limewire, kazaa, etc. Its easy to download some artists full album, so that has to slump there sales right there. On the flip side sites like Amazon, iTunes, etc. they also make up for that because some artist would post their exclusive music on those kinds of sites. So it has its pros and its cons.

Yoshi aka Yoshiggedy started making beats in November 2003. He started out on FL Studio 4 teaching himself how to create patterns and formulate a beat. When he tried to show some local artist in the area, they was not feeling what he had to offer. "Truthfully, I wasn't feelin what I been producin myself. I would listen to Lil' Jon and Swizz Beatz and realized I got a long way to go." So with determination in his eyes, Yoshiggedy stayed in the lab for about 8 months. Then he emerged again and went around school with his production work. He messed with a few people around school from his junior year to his senior year. At the end of his senior year he clicked up with a few people from his gym class and dropped a quick mixtape for the local high schools. Long story short, Yoshi left that group in Mid 2007. Then later on that year, he reconnected with his homegirl DJ Crunkness. "DJ Crunkness found me and DJ 420 signed me, I scream dat s*** forever!) Yoshiggedy went to Quad Dub Productions Studios, Met DJ 420 and his good friend Jennifer. "I dropped a Quad Dub classic dat night called "I'm From the SC". Since then, I been down with Quad Dub Productions since. Yoshiggedy is still apart of the label and has no plans of leaving. "Quad Dub Productions is home, everyone on da label I love like a family, DJ 420 is my big brother even though I'm older. I look up to dat man cause we tight outside of the recording and the headphones. We both have the same ambitions and same goals, to take what we got and make it work to a 100 Racks, so why not chase ya dream wit someone who wants da same s*** you want, ya digg?" Since being down with the label, Yoshiggedy is the current in-house producer, mix and master engineer, and now up and coming graphics artist. "I call myself the Beat Sergeant Major cause right now I feel like the producers in the city are just all soundin the same. So I wanna do sumthin different than what I was hearin, on dat note shouts outs to Yung Jizzo and Beatrocka Sam cause they feel the way I feel bout this s***. If I f*** witcha da long way you already know I'mma lookout for ya cause yall been down wit me since da beginning ya dig?
