Black Sunshyne is an original rock n roll band in the central NJ area.

Classick rock, hard rock with some pop rock flair with influences all over the music genre map.

The band was finally completed with their line up in the beginning of 2008 and are starting to play shows in the central NJ area.

With a female lead singer this band puts a spin on the great covers of hard and classic rock!!!
Why this name?
Black Sunshyne is like the yin and yang the dark and light. Its always dark before the light and you gotta go through the bad to get to the good.
Do you play live?
Yes we play live. We are playing a gig tomorrow (thursday march 20th) at an open mic night at the cue in brew in aberdeen nj on route 34.
Its a very exciting rush to be on stage and to know that people like are stuff. We will be branching out to play NY, NJ and PA... check our band page for showtimes at www.myspace.com/blacksunshyne
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well it has its pros and cons. Its good so people are tuned into new and unsigned music and the bands get more exposure, but at the same time it takes away from the profit of signed bands.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hmm........if you were to ask me this question 10 years ago I would say YES YES YES............but now i have realized that the possibility of signing independent might have more leeway and be more beneficial to the band in the long run.
