Heyyyyyy. I'm Jeff. I play some instruments and record them... Uh, I'd like a band, but I'm cool just doing this if that doesn't come through.
Why this name?
It came to me in a vision. Or while I was on the toilet. Or both.
Do you play live?
Uh, don't have a band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens up a lot of options for alternative means of distribution. And that's a good thing! It'll put more focus on promotion and publicity rather than playing in front of the right suit.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ahh, yeah.
Band History:
This one time my brother was playing with his 'band' in the basement and they wanted a bass player to play something so they asked me to do it since it was 'just bass.' I was hooked.
Your influences?
Oh god. Uh, Pennywise, Thrice, Metallica, Bad Religion, the Offspring. Maybe NOFX a little, I guess. Also, classic rock like Creedence Clearwater Revival and Neil Young factors in slightly.
Favorite spot?
I live in the Cincinnati area and don't leave much. Northern Kentucky's the spot, dude.
Equipment used:
I got an Ibanez GSA60 electric, Ovation Celebrity Acoustic/Electric, Ibanez Soundgear bass, and a whole bunch of mics.
