Originally our band name was Inept because we are fecicious assholes ahah, but we changed it to Abnegated Blue when the band was having a hard time staying together and getting people to recognize us. So we changed it To Abnegated, which means to be denied and blue because Abnegated by it self didnt have quite as nice of a ring

We have played live in Local Venues in three states , this summer we will be touring all the way to maine and up to washington. We have the sponsorship, so we figure we might as well use it.
Its always hard to play live becasue you get a lot of asshole people in crowds who get rowdy and drunk and throw sh*** up on stage, but for the most part its a lot of fun to play live shows. I think the funniest moment on stage was when Twitch was singing and burped in the middle of a song...she was so startled she stopped singing and just had to laugh.

We dont really have a preference, i think its harder for bands to get really big now just for the sole fact that back in the day you got signed, people had to go out and BUY the album and then the band would tour. But since its so easy to download music now there is really no point in selling an album, all it really is doing is advertising for your live shows.

We already have, we are just waiting for the final touches. We can not post our remastered versions until we get the ok. We dont want any " serious" lawsuits :P

Abnegated Blue was formed in Houston Texas in 2005 and has played many shows at local venues in Louisiana, California and Texas.
The Band started off with Kybyrd and Amanda Slade * aka twitch* writing calloborative pieces in their garage. Amanda Slade stopped playing music for 2 years to pursue modeling and art, but shortly came back after bursting with new ideas, lyrics and persoanl experiences that made Abnegated Blue that much stronger.
With creative lyrics, a heavy industrial rock beat and great vocals and support Abnegated Blue is becoming a household name within Local cities such as houston and select cities in california.

We love a lot of industrial and metal music...but can swing a little bit more alternative.
