Just on Webcam singing a tune I had written for a girl, who made the next day even more special than the last, no matter how incredible the day before was.

Diverse, in a typical gig, you'd hear covers of bob dylan, neil young, and originals in the same vein, for instance, "Let it Rain" or "Once Upon A Sunset" and then you'd hear covers by Velvet Revolver and Bon Jovi, and originals of the like, eg. "Minion of Thor", and "Heaven's Getting Closer." Anywhere from socially conscience, to tongue in cheeck, straight up rock and roll.
Why this name?
Simple, my actual name is James Juodvirsis, obviously not the easiest to pronounce, so I simply shortened Juodvirsis to Judd, and there you have it.
Do you play live?
I play live as often as humanly possible, so far only in my hometown of kitchener, ontario, though will be expanding that area within the next few months. Love playing live, it almost like an alter ego that I get to play for a couple hours, its great. Special moments, well one that I come back to is my first paying gig at the circus room in kitchener (March 26th 2005) Which was great cuz it was my first gig, but it also happened to be on my idol's, Steven Tyler's Birthday.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm mixed on the whole situation, on one hand its great because it allows more exposure without having to put much money or effort, on the other hand, people don't go to stores, and have friends over to listen to this great new album, its kind of taken the socializing out of music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell Yeah!!!, Why else would I be working so hard for nothing!
Well my influences would have to be, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Guns n' Roses, My uncle (Peter Judd), Weird Al, stuff along those lines.
To build connections and to carve out a name for myself, NYC. For the scenery and pace of life, Vancouver BC.
Let's see here, with me, a Montana Electric Acoutic, Fender Squire Precision Bass, LTD Electric, not sure the model, Line 6 Spider III (75 watt), Jimi Hendrix Cry Baby Wah, a Terrying arsenal of Hohner Harmonicas and my Boss recording console. Back east I still have my V-drum kit and my Yamaha Portable Grand Keyboard.
