Im an upcoming hip hop artist from the grimey streets of Milwaukee, Wi born and raised..I got into hip hop at age 7 and started writing lyrics at age 13..When i was 15 I got up wit one of the hottest underground rappers from Milwaukee Anonymous and started f***in with Scummed Out Ent. Inc. I stepped my spit game up started takin this sh*** more serious and started recording music. Being around a camp of the dopest muthaf***as I've heard from the underground my style matured quickly and I've come a long way with this shit..Due to unfortunate events Our CEO/Producer Beaker Beats got incarcerated in 06 and is currently doin his bid and gets home in 09..As a label we've been thru trials and tribulations but we are still holding this sh*** down til BEAKS GET HOME..Shouts to my brotha ANON, my n*** Clarke Kent, And Of Course Beaker Beats..If You a Fan of the music be on da look out for new sh*** cuz we just gettin started..believe that
Why this name?
I was rappin for a minute before i really came up with a name..i had a couple ideas but this one just stuck..my whole mission is too bring back real hip hop therefore "da golden era" is wat i am for hip hop bringin the real back to the light and get rid of any of these weak emcees who test me
Do you play live?
I myself havent done my first show, im looking forward to the experience..other members from my camp have done 100s of shows at bars and local talent shows and other venues..I spit live tho whenever im at a spot kickin it or if anybody ask me 2 spit..there aint no better feelin then shittin on a n*** in front of a crowd
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
shit f***ed it up really..now days everybody bootleg sh*** via the internet therefore a lot of these real hip hop artists aint making money off their creativity and hard work..we in an age where ringtones is where these rappers making a lot of money and its the catchy hooks that are selling..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That is not a goal of mine if it happens it happens but honestly id rather be indie and do the sh*** myself and turn it into a major label
