Welcome to my page! Home of DJ Tripp the Breaks, DnB, Energy, and House extrodinare. I have been spinning, remixing, and producing electronica for about 8 years now. I am 17 years old and am currently residing in the town of Ashburn, VA - 35 minutes from our nations capital Washington, DC.
Why this name?
A friend and I sat down one day and threw DJ names at each other. After 1 hour we both agreed on DJ Tripp :)
Do you play live?
I play live at small clubs, house parties, and in my basement.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easier to share my music and let people get a feel for my style. If I let a few people download some of my tracks for free and they like what they hear they will most likely want to hear more of my work.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would because I could share my gift of music with the world.
Band History:
I have been living in California outside of San Fransisco for the last 4 years and just moved back to the east coast. I think it's time to establish my name here in the DC area.
Your influences?
Richard Vision, DJ Dan, DJ Irene, Morgan, Carl Cox, Donald Glaud, DJ Icey, Bad Boy Bill, Diesel Boy, Krust, Sketch and Code, Distorted Minds, and all the other talented Dj'z and producers out there are my influences.
Favorite spot?
Mine is probably a cross between the cities of San Fransisco and Washington DC
