We play live as often as we can and we love it!

It gives anyone the chance to spread their music and you can find music that you otherwise never get a chance to hear.

The band was formed by 3 friends in a school when the were playing Black sabbath covers for the parents at a show in school. That was back in 2001. They first started to play hardcore with influences from Refused, Raised fist, Shield etc. The first demo cd was recorded 2002, at that time they had changed their style more to classic rockmusic! 4 own songs and a motörhead cover, "Ace of spades" and the classic 1st Liberation was formed! The years 2002-2004 1st Liberation plays lots of shows mostly in norrbotten, Sweden. and get a lot of attention in the press and some of the songs was played in the radio. a couple of more demo cd:s was recorded. In october 2004 1st Liberation had their las gig at the Teenage lust rock n roll club at Färjan, Luleå. After that the band split up.
Joakim & André carried on in the band "Bulletbride" And Degen Tried out to play with lots of people but never find anything that lasted longer than a couple of months.
In December 2007 something wonderfull happened!
The 3 old friends Jocke, Degen & André started to talk about playing together again. Bulletbride splits up and 1st Liberation was back on track again. Erik Henriksson (Guitarplayer from Bulletbride) also joined as leadguitarist. Their first gig together was 12:th January 2008 and it was a big hit! A couple of new songs was recorded in february, and it sound delicious. 1st Liberation is stronger than ever! and better than ever!
