I didn't grow up in the ghetto and I've never shot anyone. I'm not out to prove anything - it's just me doing me. Born in DC, raised in FL, going to school in NY.
Why this name?
The way people perceive me doesn't really reflect the way my mind perceives the world around me. Believe me, even Hannibal Lecter doesn't wanna get inside my head. With no one to talk to, I needed a way to get it out.
Band History:
I've been playing music since I was 10 and as far as writing goes, rapping's always come the most natural to me. Rapping is my release from all the negative emotions I have bottled up. I'd also like to give a shout out to my boys at Platinum Status for showing me what hard work and perseverance can get you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Your influences?
Just music in general, man. I love making music. This is what I was put here to do, to make music. I love doing this, man, it's almost like a high for me. If I haven't written for a while, it feels funny. I think Dre said it best. You get this feeling like, "Damn, this could have been the day I came up with f***ing 'Billie Jean' or some shit." If I'm not writing, it always crosses my mind.
A lot of of what I write derives from past events and my feelings regarding them. Other times it's hypothetical, just situations I've thought about at one time or another.

Favorite spot?
The shower is where most, if not all, of my ideas come to me. That's where I think the clearest...the sound of the water running just blocks out all other noises and I can get into my element.
Anything else...?
I write about real issues, real struggles, that I face or that this country faces. I write deep lyrics. I'm a perfectionist and don't release sh*** until I'm truly satisfied. I don't want to be associated with the artists you hear on the radio.
