Buz is a songwriter, and has had songs recorded throughout the years. He writes and co-writes songs, both lyrics and melodies. He's had songs recorded by Gene Thomas, Frankie Laine, Mark Chessnut, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Charlie Louvin, Johnny Lee, and several artists on independent labels.
