After many names, the band took much time finding a concept that described the band's sound in a name. Varying perspectives of devastation are apparent on every track and the name sets the listener for the experience known as Shades Of Devastation.

Each current member has their own experiences. Still a new band, we have yet to play a live show. Located in Sacramento California, we will soon to play any local venues such as Club Retro, The Fire Escape, The Kennel Club and hopefully The Boardwalk.

It allows music to be heard. Before if you heard of a band, you had to go out and buy their CD's to find out if you like them. Among typical non-musicians, this is discouraging, preventing them from looking into new bands. With the internet, listeners who like a band are more likely to buy their CD, whether they are signed or are an independent local band. With the internet, small unsigned local bands can have fans with their music on the other side of the world.

If there's a label out there that allows and accepts the artist to express themselves in their image then the first chance we will sign.

The concept, of bringing a full raged melodic metal band with the sounds of the classical symphony orchestra with romantic movements that catches the ear and heart for memorable melodies, harmonies and stories that will stay locked within all those with a open mind, to see all sorts of open styles played universally, with such balance of all the radio signals, with all the intensities, and creativity, passion, and power not seen anywhere but the underground. Step away from the shallow imagery that comes from the media of a moraless society and bring forth the artistry of the classical antiquity, sophistication, and matureness that will soon to be known as the Third Rebirth of Enlightenment, the first in over 130 years since the death of classical music and the birth of the media and the rebellion. Be there to whiteness a history in making. A power surges through the air, the battle horns sound, the journey begins, the battle begins...
