How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
In this day and age, the internet definitely plays a major role in the music industry, which can be viewed as positive or negative. Websites such as Myspace are definitely a plus for the music industry, in that they allow each of their users to choose a song from their favorite artist / band and have it play whenever anyone else looks at their space. This is good advertising. However, on the negative side, programs like Limewire allow the illegal downloading of music free of charge. This heavily damages record sales.

My two biggest musical influences are Dr. Dre & Timbaland.
