I started with the name Kamikaze when I was first writing back in like late '98. I just like the way Tupac used it in "Life of an outlaw" (Mercy to this madman screamin kamikaze in tongue. Automatic gunfire makin all my enemies run). For some reason that word just makes a strong statement to me, but after the 9/11 attacks I figured I would have to dumb it down to just Kaze.

I have performed in the past with the biggest crowd being about 120 guests, but I am not currently doing any shows right now. I wanna get some real work done before I start doing shows again. You just might see me at a open mic every once in a while though.

The only bad thing about the internet and the music industry is that all the music is being sold under the table and out the trunks of cars that had nothing to do with the project. Other than that the internet is a great networking tool and helps people in the industry alot.

Honestly I think I would sign with a major label even though I've been schooled on the advantages of going independent. I know some good emcees that dont get the respect they deserve because they was either blackballed or just wanted to take the independent route. I want my voice to be heard by the masses.

My favorite area is the Washington Metropolitan Area. Its where I grew up and was raised at. I spent a couple years in Georgia and it was fun, but it just didnt feel like home.

Right now I'm using Sony acid music studio 7.0, and I been trying to learn how to use Fruity loops Studio 5.
