Space Program is the product of Wavley Mark Groves III and Joshua Robert Smith. Wavley works for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory microassembling cryogenic low noise amplifiers. Before helping discover the distant reaches of the universe Wavley was also a member of Modern, Explorer 1, Glenn Branca's Symphony 13 for 100 guitars, Hankshaw, engineered drums for Candy Bars (ex-Michael Furey bandmate), and records Avant Garde music under the name Terra Firma Soundsystem. Josh was also in Explorer 1 and also records as the Towering Heroes of Grenada .

The first full length record is out now as is an EP entitled "The Stars Mock Us" a new double album is in the works. We run our own D.I.Y. label with hand copied and made cd's and artwork... Planetoid Records
