Young and multi-talented, Miss Jhane has been writing longer than she has been singing. Inspired by all the soul strong female singers, like Mary J. Blige, Nina Simone, Toni Braxton, and even our own Canadian female like Jully Black, and Melanie Durrant, Miss Jhane writes all her personal experiences as an example to other females; and her voice and charisma are a combination that is well balance.

Born and raised in Montreal, she has been in a step-dancing crew, the GODS OF RHYTHM with whom, she won for Best Specialty Performance for the YTV ACHIEVEMENTS AWARDS, then the Group of the Year at the SOUNDS OF BLACKNESS AWARDS, which rewards black quebecor talent. When the group parted ways, she focused more as a self-entrepreneur singer-songwriter .

She has been participating in groups and different local projects throughout the city of Montreal Canada. She is now relocated in New York city to continue pursuing her crafts, and she is looking for a serious team for her album project. On the side, she does extra and acting work.
